I don’t know how much more I can take,

But, persevere, I will.

In the midst of the storm,

Hoping this does not become the norm;

I stand and declare,

Because I know in whose image I conform.

Though it might be windy,

I know it’s only temporary.

He who lives in me,

Will rescue me – Surely.

Peace, be still…
